Liz & Levi

The twins are the last members of an aristocratic family and after their parents passed away, they became the new leaders of their village and had to protect it. Both are two of the main characters of the game and will appear in the prologue, which plays 7 years in the past, as well as in the main story. (The image to the right also shows their appearance from the past)
Liz is a light magic user who dislikes fights and disputes, but she still knows that sometimes they can't be circumvented. She also wants to resolve the conflicts of the nearby countries and while this would only be a dream for most people, with her position she could actually accomplish it. Therefore she believes in the trustworthiness of someone, even though she has a good knowledge of human nature and knows that a lot of people will lie so they have an advantage. This could be seen as naivety, but since she doesn't want conflicts it's important to her.
Levi on the other side tries to focus on the immediate issues, like the threat of the mysterious beings who appear from time to time in the nearby forest. To balance Liz out he also tries to be more skeptical and protect her. Fortunately this isn't necessary very often, since strangers rarely appear in their village. As a skilled swordsman he additionally participated in battles early on, but this could have influenced his personality...
